Six years ago today, in Hollywood, Florida, at 1:38 pm, 39 year old model/actress Anna Nicole Smith was found unresponsive in room 607 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. After frantic 911 calls, desperate attempts to administer CPR, and lost time while trying to push through paparazzi, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the local hospital, nearly one hour later.

Leaving behind a daughter, husband and estranged family, the subject of Anna’s death, as well as her controversial career, would continue to be the center of every national news station for months to come. Immortalized in timeless photographs, her legacy continues to live on in her now 6 year old daughter, Dannielynn, who has just in 2012 signed a contract with GUESS?, one of the very companies that once helped put Anna Nicole on the map.
